About The Series.

Tahlia and Caitlin met in 2013 at a community event that they were both involved in, hitting it off immediately over blocks of raw chocolate that Tahlia and her partner Scott had made. What continued became a deeply interwoven friendship that celebrated many experiences together including a wedding, baby loss, births of babies and many deep conversations on living a holistic life and how to raise a family in this crazy modern world. Tahlia approached Caitlin in 2019 to help her co-author a book on post-partum recipes, which slowly transformed into much more than just a healthy, wholesome and approachable way to eating in the post-partum period.

The recipes in the books have been created specifically to cater for any family, regardless of their circumstances. They have been designed as warming, nourishing and wholesome experiences. They can be eaten with one hand, if need be, and cater to all cooking types. These books also delve deeply into managing the multiple changes a mother faces on her postpartum and preconception journeys, how to prepare those around her, how to prepare the self, dropping unrealistic expectations of herself and most importantly, calling in the village of support so that she may be held not only on a physical level, but also on a deeply emotional, spiritual and mental level as well.
